The former manager of Barcelona and Bayern München has become the most successful manager in Manchester City's history.
We decided to write about a manager that we both consider vital for the success of some teams such as Barcelona or Manchester City, which he has beaten an important record with. His palmarès (ensemble of the trophies he won with each club) is really full and he is known all over the world for his enviable career.
At the moment Josep Guardiola has 220 victories, the same number as another legendary club's figure: Les McDowall, who was the longest-serving manager in Manchester City’s history, with a 13-year tenure.
While it took Mcdowall 592 games to reach this result, Guardiola obtained it with only 303 games by winning 1-0 against Chelsea on 25th September. He cannot deny it is an honour. There has never been, in the club's history, a manager who won more trophies than him. Behind him, on the list, is Joe Mercer, who won only half of the 8 titles of Pep. McDowall only won one FA cup in 1956.
Guardiola achieved this status before the international break, where some players of Manchester City play for the English national team. Pep was also the one who introduced the "Tiki Taka" style of play (doing a lot of passes to keep the team in constant motion and confuse the opponents, in order to attack with more precision).
Manchester City's next games won't be easy, because the club has to face competitive teams such as Chelsea, Paris St-Germain and Liverpool.
Guardiola is also impressed by how fast they have reached this remarkable milestone and it is important to remember that he managed to achieve it without some injured players that were considered vital for the victory.
He recognizes the credit is overall of the players, the staff and the backroom staff who have contributed to achieve this goal.
He also thinks that this record will be beaten sooner or later, because records themselves are made to be beaten. However, he is satisfied to have been part of this remarkable achievement.
To sum up, we consider Guardiola one of the best managers in the world and we also think that only a few others have made such a revolution in soccer. It Is very interesting to watch him training in a club and you can learn a lot by listening to his interviews or press conferences. It is also encouraging learning that if you really believe in something, you will get what you want, as Pep did.

Pep Guardiola sarebbe onorato di diventare l'allenatore più vincente del Manchester City.
L'allenatore che ha formato il Barcellona e il Bayern Monaco è diventato il manager più di successo nella storia del Manchester City.
Abbiamo deciso di scrivere riguardo a un allenatore che entrambi consideriamo fondamentale per il successo di club come Barcellona o Manchester City, con il quale ha vinto un record importante. Il suo palmarès (raccolta dei trofei che ha vinto con ogni club) è veramente pieno ed è conosciuto in tutto il mondo per la sua carriera invidiabile.
Al momento Josep Guardiola detiene 220 vittorie, lo stesso numero di un'altra figura leggendaria del club: Les McDowall, che è stato l'allenatore più longevo nella storia del Manchester City, con un mandato di 13 anni.
Mentre a McDowall sono servite 592 partite per raggiungere questo risultato, Guardiola l'ha ottenuto con solo 303 partite vincendo 1 a 0 contro il Chelsea il 25 Settembre. Pep, che ha solo 50 anni, non può negare che questo sia un gran onore. Non c'è mai stato, nella storia del club, un allenatore che abbia vinto tanti trofei come lui. Dietro di lui, nella lista, c'è Joe Mercer, che ha vinto solo la metà degli 8 titoli di Pep. McDowall aveva vinto solo una FA cup nel 1956.
Guardiola ha raggiunto questo risultato prima della pausa internazionale, dove alcuni giocatori del Manchester City dovranno giocare per la nazionale inglese. È stato lui a introdurre lo stile di gioco del "Tiki Taka" (fare moltissimi passaggi per mantenere la squadra in costante movimento e confondere gli avversari, in modo da attaccare con più precisione).
I prossimi incontri del Manchester City non saranno facili, perché la squadra deve affrontare squadre competitive come Chelsea, Paris St-Germain e Liverpool.
Guardiola è comunque impressionato da quanto rapidamente abbiano raggiunto questo notevole traguardo ed è importante ricordare che è riuscito a raggiungerlo senza alcuni giocatori infortunati che erano considerati fondamentali per la vittoria.
Riconosce che il merito è soprattutto dei giocatori, dello staff e del personale dietro le quinte che hanno contribuito a raggiungere questo obiettivo. Pensa inoltre che questo record verrà prima o poi battuto, perché i record stessi sono fatti per essere battuti. È comunque soddisfatto di essere parte di questo straordinario risultato.
In conclusione, consideriamo Guardiola uno dei migliori allenatori al mondo e pensiamo che solo pochi altri abbiano dato al calcio una rivoluzione simile. È molto interessante vederlo allenare in una squadra e si può imparare molto ascoltando le sue interviste o conferenze. È inoltre incoraggiante apprendere che se credi davvero in qualcosa, otterrai ciò che desideri, come ha fatto Pep.
